Project:NOW Makes Donation to INROADS at 2018 Benefit Gala

Project:NOW and City Gala were proud to present a check to INROADS, Inc. during last week’s #INROADSBenefitGala in support of their outstanding programs dedicated to increasing diversity in corporate America through training and internships.

INROADS is the leader in this space, impacting the lives of over 154,000 youth; has over 28 offices serving nearly 2,000 interns at over 200 companies; and has over 28,000 alumni worldwide who have benefitted from its programs over its almost 50 years of operating.

The Gala was sponsored by Procter and Gambleand the Mistress of Ceremonies was veteran actress, Ion Overman (Madea Goes To Jail, The L Word). Honorees of the evening included INROADS alumni Caleb Tacuri, PwC’s Tim Rice, Google’s Darryl Willis, and The Will And Jada Smith Family Foundation, among other leaders in the community.

Project:NOW’s donation was made through Project:NOW co-founder, The Arthur Wylie Entrepreneurship And Leadership Fund (AWELF), and was derived from a commitment of $1.2 million raised for the Project:NOW initiative during a year-long fundraising campaign with City Gala.

We couldn’t be more excited to share that through AWELF, we have committed to expanding our support of INROADS over the years to come!

CONGRATS on an extraordinary evening, INROADS, we look forward to working with you to build brighter futures for young people around the world!

Check out a sneak-peak of the evening below!
